VIThe Constitution

Seven articles
that govern

how we work.

The Zaros Constitution is not promotional copy. It is the intellectual foundation of the institution — the set of commitments we make to ourselves, and to the organizations that engage us, before any work begins.

It is short by design. Institutions that need long charters usually have not yet decided what they believe.

Article I · Endurance

What is worth building is worth building slowly.

The Zaros Constitution · Preamble
I
Article I

Technology changes. Principles endure.

Every instrument we use today will be replaced within a decade. The obligations of an institution — clarity, stewardship, judgment — will not.

II
Article II

Clarity is our craft.

Before we build anything, we write. Before we write, we listen. The quality of an engagement is set by the precision of its first sentence.

III
Article III

Judgment is the product.

We are not paid to deliver software, campaigns, or dashboards. We are paid to improve the quality of the decisions our clients are able to make.

IV
Article IV

Editorial Intelligence is our discipline.

We treat every deliverable as a published work. It carries an author, a record, and a standard it must meet before it leaves the room.

V
Article V

Institutions are our legacy.

We work with organizations that intend to outlive their founders. Our systems are built to be inherited by people we may never meet.

VI
Article VI

Deliberate craft over excessive generation.

Anyone can produce more. Few can produce well. Volume is not evidence of thought; it is often evidence of its absence.

VII
Article VII

Fewer clients. Longer horizons.

We take on a small number of engagements each year, and we intend to remain with them. Depth is a design choice, not a limitation.

Every engagement Zaros accepts is measured against these seven articles. When our work departs from them, the work is wrong — not the Constitution.
